Houses with history. Stays with a point of view.

Between the Pacific, Mill Creek, and the Atlantic, we make, live in, and look after a small collection of houses — in Todos Santos, Healdsburg, and Wrightsville Beach. Each one is particular, personally tended, and open to guests.

How we host

Houses with a life already in them

We keep what has soul — the art, the wood, the rooms that already knew how to be lived in — and repair the rest with care.

Room to gather, make, and get away

Long tables, deep porches, quiet studios. These are places to cook together, to work on something, or to do very little at all.

Small local teams who know each place

Armando and Maricella care for Casa del Arte in Todos Santos. Doreen looks after Cosmico on Mill Creek. Laura manages Stay Close in Wrightsville Beach.

The treehouse in the redwoods at Starlight Grove — retained in the rebuild.

A new chapter

Starlight Grove

Healdsburg, California

A much-loved neighbouring house on Mill Creek, built around the treehouse, the pizza oven, and life by the water.

The winter storm took a great deal, and we are rebuilding it with care. The pizza oven and treehouse remain. We look forward to welcoming guests back when the time is right.
